TARGETING AND DETECTION Innovations in thermal technology Passive thermal targets are an important part of Reshet Graf Ltd’s collection; as thermal sights and thermal devices become more common in the battlefield there is an increasing demand for efficient cost effective training solutions both for light weapons and heavy vehicles. Following the unveiling of their new line of thermal realistic targets – ThermaReal, Reshet Graf Ltd are set to work on further launches of fusion infrared combat ID solutions over the coming months. Meeting global needs In the next six months, METRAVIB, a brand of ACOEM will do a number of things: spread the spectrum of threats detected by their flagship product, PILAR V, integrated acoustic gunshot detection system for armoured vehicles; launch the PILAR V STAND-ALONE Standalone acoustic Gunshot Detection System for armoured and reconnaissance vehicles; innovate via a CTD (concept technology demonstrator) to target the global customers’ needs for a new vehicle segment such as the military light-protected and police vehicles. Forefront in surveillance solutions Coming to the market over the next few months is the Z-IR 100 Clip-On Thermal Device, which can be used as a hand-held or weapon-mounted system for observation, target detection or passive target acquisition during day and night in a variety of environment conditions, including fog, rain, snow, smoke, total darkness. Z-IR 100 is an outstanding thermal imager with a great number of functions and perfect optical performance.
